We are an independent, family-run hire company with two branches in South Wales, in Cardiff and in Merthyr Tydfil. Both are staffed, so there is always someone here who can make a decision.

Hire for as long as the job takes

A hire can run for a day, a fortnight, or for as many months as the work needs. It is the same account either way, and a longer hire is not priced like a long weekend rental.

Trying electric without buying one

If your business is looking at electric and is not ready to buy, hiring is the cheapest way to find out whether it suits how your people actually work. A real fortnight of real routes tells you more than a test drive, and if the answer turns out to be no, you have not bought anything.

We hire electric cars, and we can talk to you about electric vans. Ask us what is available when you set the account up, because it is worth matching the vehicle to the runs your drivers actually do rather than to a spec sheet.

Most businesses that hire vehicles end up needing two different things. There is the everyday side, vans and cars for staff doing the work. And then occasionally there is the other kind of journey, collecting a client from the airport, getting the board to a meeting, or moving people to an event without anybody having to drive.

We do both, and you can run both through the same account with the same people.

Our chauffeur side has been running for over two decades, with professionally trained chauffeurs and a fleet of modern Mercedes and BMW vehicles. Our business clients on that side range from individual professionals to large firms.

If you need both, it is one supplier and one account.

Two branches, and a lot of people who have used us

We have been hiring vehicles out since 2007. It started as a family business working out of a portable cabin in Merthyr Tydfil with five vehicles on the yard. There are around a hundred now, across two branches.

Cardiff is at 293 Penarth Road, CF11 8TT. Merthyr Tydfil is at Dragon Parc B, Abercanaid, CF48 1PQ. Both are open seven days a week, including bank holidays.

Between the two branches we hold over a thousand reviews in Cardiff and hundreds in Merthyr Tydfil. We are a member of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association.

Common questions

Any of your staff can, as long as they meet the same checks any driver does.

When you set the account up we will go through what we need for each driver and how to add somebody new. It is quicker on an account, since we already hold your details.

Please note that every driver is checked individually, whoever the account is in the name of. If you are not sure whether somebody qualifies, ask the team before the day of the hire rather than on it.

That depends on how fast the paperwork comes back, but it is not a long process.

Leave us a number and somebody will call you back to talk through what you need. If an account is the right fit, we will send you the application. It asks for your company details, who looks after your accounts, the sort of vehicles you expect to need, how often, the credit limit you are after, and trade references.

There is a credit check, which is standard for any credit account.

Please note that if you need a vehicle before the account is set up, that is not a problem. We can sort the hire out now and the account separately.
